Somatically Held Psilocybin Work

An Embodied Approach to Safe & Integrated Journeys

A Relational, Somatic Foundation

At the heart of this work is trauma-informed care and relational attunement. Before any journey takes place, we focus on building nervous system safety through embodied, relational work—so your system can remain connected, oriented, and resourced as deeper material emerges.

Psilocybin can open access to powerful inner experiences, but insight alone rarely creates lasting change. Without a foundation, experiences can be hard to integrate or may remain disconnected from daily life. Somatic practices support the body’s natural capacity to regulate, process, and integrate what emerges, allowing insight to be received, embodied, and lived over time.

This work is not about preparing for a peak experience. It is about creating the conditions that support meaningful integration, sustainable healing, and ongoing personal evolution.

 Preparation Is Essential

All psilocybin work in my practice includes a minimum of two preparation sessions.

These sessions focus on establishing safety and trust in relationship, building internal resources and support, and cultivating embodied awareness and nervous system resiliency. I'll teach you somatic practices that support orientation and grounding, and clarify intention without attachment to outcome. Together, this preparation helps your system feel supported, resourced, and connected before any altered state is introduced.

Preparation and integration sessions are offered in person or via Zoom, depending on what feels most supportive and accessible.

The Journey

The journey itself is held within the relational and somatic container we have already established. My role is to provide steady, attuned presence—not direction or interpretation— supporting nervous system regulation and embodied awareness as sensations, emotions, or memories arise.

This allows the experience to unfold organically, without force or expectation, while remaining grounded in connection and support.

Integration Is Where Change Happens

Integration is central to this work, and I require a minimum of two post-journey sessions.

Rather than focusing on cognitive meaning-making, integration emphasizes embodied processing and supporting the nervous system as new insights begin to land.

Somatic practices are woven throughout integration to support nervous system down-regulation and help experiences become accessible, usable, and lived—allowing insight to move beyond understanding and into daily life, relationships, and ways of being, rather than remaining isolated memories.

Integration may include TRE® (Trauma Release Exercise), which engages the body’s neurogenic tremor reflex that helps release embodied tension and trauma, supporting a shift toward greater safety and regulation. This process is conscious, but not cognitive, and works with the body’s innate intelligence in a way that is complementary to psilocybin.

Many clients find that TRE® supports a felt sense reconnection to their journey, allowing their experiences to be processed, integrated, and embodied, rather than held only as memories or insights.

Long-Term Healing & Evolution

When psilocybin is held within a somatic and relational framework, it can support lasting nervous system resiliency, deeper self-trust and embodiment, and sustainable healing over time. Rather than emphasizing one-time insight, this approach supports a greater capacity for authenticity, presence, and choice, allowing personal evolution to unfold organically.

These evolutions are not rushed; they emerge through safety, relationship, and ongoing embodied integration.

About MEgan

Hi, I’m MEgan, and I'm happy you're here.

I bring over 36 years of experience in body–mind integrated healing to this work. My background includes physical therapy, somatic psychology, nervous system resiliency, Trauma Release Exercise (TRE®), Embodied Coaching, and psilocybin facilitation.

What makes working with me distinct is not just the modalities involved, but how they are held. My approach is deeply relational and grounded in somatic attunement, informed by decades of listening to the body as a primary source of wisdom while supporting people through trauma, healing, and meaningful change. I work slowly and collaboratively, with great respect for your system’s timing, intelligence, and capacity to guide the work.

Psilocybin can be a beautiful ally, often bringing us back into deeper connection with ourselves. I hold it with great respect, as something that can be profoundly supportive when held within the right conditions of safety, relationship, preparation, and integration—rather than as a solution in its

My role is to help create and maintain those conditions with care, integrity, and presence.

Megan has been the most insightful, perceptive, gracious and effective coach/healer/therapist I have worked with. She has helped me transform my body/mind relationship, calm my nerves through development of new skill sets, and helped me untangle the places in my life where I have felt stuck. She has all the tools to help one become stronger, at peace, and the best, most clear-headed version of themself. For me, the process with her has eclipsed anything that talk therapy and personal coaching could ever achieve. Megan is a gift to the world.

As a client who came to Megan struggling with both chronic pain and PTSD, I can attest that she has every capacity to support and promote healing for her clients. Megan skillfully weaves listening, teaching, hands-on work, guidance and feedback to empower clients to integrate new techniques to achieve their best health, from physical to psychological to spiritual. She is both a kind and a fierce advocate for her clients' wellbeing, and I cannot recommend working with her strongly enough. You will be glad you did.

I recommend working with Megan because personally, my life has gotten a whole lot easier now that I've given myself the attention and tools to work with it. The things I thought were problems have since resolved themselves or fallen into place and the feelings of stress and anxiety I've felt in recent years feels like it has been replaced with trust and gratitude in a way that no other work I've done on myself has helped me achieve. There's no greater gift than remembering who we truly are, honoring the bodies that got us here, reclaiming our stories and our power, and learning the tools to support us to live fulfilling lives. Thank you for being my guide Megan!
